Artist biography
I am a self-taught artist whose artistic journey has been shaped by experimentation, and a deep appreciation for the masters. Much of my education has come from studying the works of renowned painters in museums, as well as learning from the practices & tips and perspectives of other accomplished artists.
My work is imaginative, inventive, and intentionally diverse. I work across a range of mediums—including watercolor, acrylic, oil, and pastel—because I believe that limiting myself to a single medium or artistic style would restrict my creative process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
I believe in the importance of authenticity. My greatest inspiration and my greatest pleasure—is telling stories with my paintbrushes.
Over the course of my career, I have sold more than 5,000 original pieces, many of them created from live models. This experience has allowed me to continually explore the human figure, movement, expression, and the spontaneous energy that emerges when art is created directly from life.
For me, painting is ultimately an act of discovery: a way to transform an idea, a feeling, or a fleeting moment into something tangible, personal, and authentic.
